Happy (early) Valentine’s Day! In celebration of this day of love, I’m offering a free photoshoot to two lucky couples! Here’s what you’ll get:
- about an hour and a half of shooting with me, and my second shooter/husband, Tom
- a disc with all the touched-up images in high-resolution JPEG format
- online gallery at my website to share with your friends and family
And here are the only stipulations:
- the photoshoot will take place in the North End on Sunday March 14th at either 2 or 4 pm
- if it rains or is extremely cold, it will be rescheduled to a date in April that is convenient for everyone
- this offer is open to all couples – engaged, married, or just dating – please feel free to enter!
- you and your significant other should be comfortable in front of the camera, and ready to have fun!
- be willing to dress up (a little), or have a wardrobe change

So, to enter the contest all you have to do is become a fan of Brett Alison Photography on Facebook, then post a comment/link/photo on the wall there. I’m keeping the contest open through midnight February 28th and then will randomly choose the winners on March 1st.

Liz and Jesse’s wedding reflected their easy-going, sweet personalities at the idyllic Hartman’s Herb Farm in Barre, Massachusetts. This is the second time I’ve shot a wedding at Hartman’s, and I have to say, I love it! This time especially because of all the kittens, but that’s just me (actually, alot of the guests were quite amused by them as well!).
Well, I’m headed down to Florida tomorrow to visit my family for a few days… Hopefully I’ll come back with some highlights in my hair and some nice photos of sunny-warm-florida-things. I’ll still be answering emails and calls, and will probably (hopefully) even have another blog post this week. Back by the end of the week…
I’ve been chosen to receive WeddingWire’s 2010 Bride’s Choice Award! So, these are the images I finally narrowed it down to for the contest!
I’ve been trying to edit down my image submissions for the quarterly WPJA (Wedding Photojournalists Association) contest, but I’m having trouble. I didn’t enter the second or third quarter contests because I was so busy with weddings and personal stuff (my own wedding, buying a house, moving, etc!)… And now I have a ton of images to choose from! I have to narrow it down to 34 images, and right now I think I have about 76. If you’re not already a fan of “Brett Alison Photography” on facebook, please become one, and take a look at the images and vote for your favorites by “liking” them. This will be a huge help! Thanks
